Inspection Rates & Pricing

WHAT IS THE VALUE OF THE INSPECTION REPORT? You can measure the value of the inspeciton report by its usefulness. Should the home inspection reveal minor problems with the house, the small fee paid for the inspection bought you peace of mind. However, if the home inspection uncovers major problems with the home, your $400 could end up saving you many thousands of dollars.

On average, you can expect to pay between $350 - $475* for a home inspection. We price the inspection based on the statistics of your home. There are other inspection companies out there that are less expensive, however, purchasing a home is a large financial and emotional decision, and going with a lesser company can prove to be a costly mistake. Our pricing is based on our expertise, experience and technical knowledge, in which Building Specs is proud to deliver a superior inspection.

What's included in the Fee?:

           • Detailed home inspection conducted by an experienced professional
           • Comprehensive computer generated home inspection report
           • Technical support for as long as you own your home

* Prices for inspection-related services are estimates only. All estimates are based on our experience with the "average" home. The actual cost and length of inspection is determined by several factors such as the age, size, components, systems, and extent of damage of the building.
